Firing Ramp Conversion Table
Step One:
Choose whether you are converting a Fahrenheit to Celsius or vice versa
and go to Table One or Two depending on your conversion requirement
Step Two:
Then in the blue boxes enter each of the ramp degrees per min or hour
Example:
I have a firing schedule that only displays the ramp
temperatures in Fahrenheit. But my kiln works on Celsius.
In this
case, I choose Table One. The first segment says to increase at a rate of
150 degress fahrenheit per hour. On the line Segment One, in the
blue box under "Enter the Ramp temp in Fahrenheit" I enter 150
The result is 83 degrees celsius.
