I have made 5 pieces using this method, but have had a problem with really fine cracking of the glass in the center of the bubbles and sometime very large cracks across the entire piece. Any suggestions? I have tried reducing tha amount of baking soda or borax, and slowing down my annealing schedule to 40 degrees per hour from 1150 to 700 degrees with an hour long soak at 900 degrees. My pieces are not sticking to the shelf, so that possib;e explanation is eliminated. Help!

setting up a glass saw workspaceNice and informative. I have this saw, love it. The trouble I have is marking glass and having it stay on do you have any suggestions? I have been using crayon and china markers, do I need to put something else over that? Thank You, Linda
