The Top 7 Quick Guide
There is a lot of things you can do on Glass Community so this article explains what are the top 7 things you can do first (nb: you need to be logged in to do many of the things below):
- Invite Your Friends - the more people that contribute the better the community! You can invite as many as you like - simply go to Community -> My Profile -> and on the page click on Friends -> Invite Friends
- Add an Event - got a class or event coming up that you want to tell our community about? Go to Events and click on Add Event on the right hand side.
- Create or Join a Group - the best way to get questions answered and get involved in discussions on specific topics is to join a Group. Just go to Community -> Groups to view and search the available groups, or to create your own group.
- Watch or share some great videos - there are great videos already posted showing "how-to" or you can post your own videos from a range of sources including: Viddler, YouTube, Google Videos and many more.
- Start your own blog - if you have something to say, create your own blog! Just go to Community -> My Profile -> Blog and click Write New Entry
- Tip a Glass Artist for Sharing Their Knowledge - this community is free to join and run solely on your contributions and advertising. We invite glass artists and hobbyists to share their knowledge through articles and product reviews - if you love an article or product review, why not tip the author by using the "Tip The Author" button. The minimum contribution accepted is just $1 however you can tip the artists as much as you think their contribution is worth - and it's easy to do with a quick and simple Paypal payment. And of course if you decide to write for us too, then you can expect the same in return.
- Browse the bookstore - if you love learning new art glass skills, why not have a browse around at the books we recommend from Amazon.

- List your business in the industry directory - if you have a glass related business or provide services to glass artists, you can post details of your business in the industry directory.
- Be a Featured Artist - each month we publish a Featured Artist on the home page, in an interview and in the Featured Artist Gallery - we only take 12 Featured Artists per year.
